Zepbound, Wegovy and Mounjaro savings cards: who gets the $25 price, and what it costs if you don’t qualify

Checked

As of October 19, 2026, Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk savings cards can bring Zepbound, Mounjaro, Foundayo, Wegovy and Ozempic down to as little as $25 a month, but only for people with commercial insurance that covers the drug. Mounjaro’s card also has a $499 tier when coverage is denied. Medicare and Medicaid enrollees can’t use these cards.

Who can use a GLP-1 savings card?

A savings card (also called a copay card) is a manufacturer discount that pays part of your out-of-pocket cost at the pharmacy. Lilly’s and Novo’s cards are for people with commercial insurance. Government beneficiaries, which includes people on Medicare, Medicaid and similar programs, are excluded[1][2][3][6]. For Medicare, the separate Medicare GLP-1 Bridge sets a $50 copay for some weight-loss GLP-1s[7].

What if my plan doesn’t cover the drug?

For most of these drugs the $25 price requires coverage. If your plan denies coverage, the manufacturer self-pay price is the fallback: Zepbound $299–$449 on LillyDirect[8], Foundayo $149–$299[3], Wegovy pens $349 ($199 for two intro fills) and the pill $149–$299[4]. Mounjaro is the exception: its card has a not-covered tier at as low as $499 for a one-month fill[2].

Does self-pay spending count toward my deductible?

Novo notes that self-pay spending generally won’t count toward your insurance deductible[4]. If you have a high-deductible plan that does cover the drug, compare your copay with the self-pay price; our insurance vs cash guide walks through the arithmetic.

Do savings cards expire?

Card terms change. The Ozempic card states a 48-month limit[5], Lilly’s Zepbound card has monthly and annual limits[1], and the Mounjaro card terms we checked carry an expiration date of December 31, 2026[2]. We re-check each page and log changes on the price-change page.

Questions people ask

Can I get Zepbound for $25?

Only if you have commercial insurance that covers Zepbound. Lilly’s savings card then lets you pay as little as $25 for a 1- or 3-month supply of single-dose pens, subject to monthly and annual limits.

Can Medicare patients use a GLP-1 savings card?

No. Lilly and Novo exclude government beneficiaries. Medicare enrollees may qualify for the $50 Medicare GLP-1 Bridge instead.

What does Mounjaro cost with the savings card if insurance won’t cover it?

As low as $499 for a one-month fill, for people with commercial insurance that does not cover Mounjaro.

Is there a Zepbound, Wegovy or Mounjaro coupon?

The manufacturer “coupon” is the savings card (copay card) described on this page. It lowers the price to as little as $25 only with commercial insurance that covers the drug; government beneficiaries are excluded. Without coverage, the self-pay price applies (Mounjaro can be $499 with the card).

Is there a Wegovy savings card?

Yes. With commercial coverage, the Wegovy savings offer lets you pay as little as $25 a month, with maximum savings of $100 a month.
