An observer, not a leaderboard

GLP Observer is an independent price tracker for prescription GLP-1 medicines in the U.S. It records what manufacturers, government programs and telehealth services publish for people who pay cash, use insurance or use Medicare, with a source and a verified-on date for every number. It doesn’t sell drugs, rank programs or give medical advice.

What we cover

FDA-approved GLP-1 medicines (Zepbound, Wegovy and the Wegovy pill, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Foundayo), compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide sold by licensed telehealth programs, and the coverage rules that change the price. Prescription channels only.

What we don’t do

• No dosing or treatment advice.
• No ratings, rankings, scores or “best” lists.
• No paid placements.
• No coverage of unapproved “research” products.

How do I use GLP Observer?

1. Start with your coverage. The cheapest GLP-1 by route page splits prices by commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and cash.
2. Open the drug page for the medicine your prescriber mentioned to see every dose, the price history and where each number comes from.
3. Compare places that fill it on the programs list, then total a year, membership included, in the cost builder.
4. Check the date. Every price shows the day we last checked it; the price-change log shows what moved and when.

Why “observer”?

An observer watches, writes down what it sees with a date, and doesn’t pick favorites. That is the whole idea: we record what each manufacturer and program publishes, keep the history, and let you compare. We have nothing to sell. The data is free to reuse from the data page.

Who writes it

Every page is written and reviewed by the GLP Observer Editorial Team. The team’s review is a fact and source review: each price, date and coverage rule is checked against the archived copy of the primary page it came from before it is published, and again at each re-check. It is not a clinical review, and the team does not claim individual medical credentials. The editorial policy explains the process step by step.
