Which manufacturer channel is cheaper?

For an injectable at a maintenance dose, Wegovy pens at $349[1] cost $100 less a month than Zepbound’s $449 on-time price at 7.5 mg and up[2]; at 5 mg, Zepbound is $399. For pills, both companies start at $149 and top out at $299 with on-time refills[3][1]. Which drug is appropriate is your prescriber’s call, not a price decision.

What are the catches?

Lilly’s top-dose discounts depend on refilling within 45 days; late refills of Zepbound 10 to 15 mg cost $699[2]. Novo’s $199 is only for new patients’ first two fills of the lowest doses, through December 31, 2026[1]. Both are pharmacies: you need your own prescriber or a telehealth program.
